Here is the problem: at the school reception there is a plasma display that shows a video stating student birthday and other events or information.

The production of this Video was time consuming taking every day almost two hours of preparation and production.

We have a solution. We created an application that has a database where lies the student info and photos. The application suggests a storyboard according to the selected date. The sequence may be rearranged and finally the video is produced.

The beta phase is really allllllmost over.

After reading several blog entries, and checking this one out, it was a quick snack to implement this RSS feed on our site.

It is incredibly simple to implement, and the functionality is great. We hope that you will continue to visit us, but if you want to get immediate information just subscribe on the site or press here.

To be viewable by all browsers (mainly because of IE6 that we hope will disapear soon...) the video format and player had to be changed from the QuickTime H.264 encoding to a MPEG-4 H.264. The player is now a JW player from www.longtailvideo.com

This change took quite some effort trying around with several different options. Since we always think about giving the best experience to our users and we don't want to force installing any extra plugins, the solution was easy: Just go for a flash player that can read MPEG-4 H.264 encoded video.

WineCellar is a web application built to help you manage your wine cellar.

If you are a wine enthusiast or a professional you will enjoy the ease of use built into the application.

The main difference between this application and all other around is that it allows you to manage the fisical location of your wine bottles.

The database has information that is shared between all the users but there are items that are private and personal to each user.

In the past weeks we have been working in several projects in parallel. One of them was this site www.vintageform.pt or www.vintageform.eu for our company.

Another one was www.otiumcumdignitate.pt which is still under development, but it is already alive and we promise that you are in for a treat with this site. The design is great, warm and cosy. The feelings that we have for this site are great. It is a book store, but not a normal one. You can feel the diference when you go there. It has that sound and scent that we have written before. We were very pleased to have worked on this site.

We have been working also on www.triangulu.pt which is also still under development. The design here is very clean. The customer reaction to this design was: whow it is beautifullllll. We hope that you will also be pleased with this site.

Until now we have used some Apple products and are very pleased with the productivity level they let us achieve. At Vintage Form we aim to produce with this level of simplicity and quality.
